How a Simple Shape Reveals the Nature of Ideas, Influence, and Awakening
Think of a green triangle. Got it? Great.
Until you read those words, that shape likely wasn’t anywhere near your mind. Maybe you’ve seen one before the one on this post — on a road sign, a sticker, a textbook diagram.
But in this exact moment, the green triangle is here, in your mind, because of these words.
These words came from me. And I’m writing this now… but you’re reading it later. To be exact, this thought came to me on Sunday, May 25th, 2025, at 4pm, sitting in the Aldi car park in Ulverston. By the time this message reaches you, hours, days, maybe years will have passed. And yet — the idea has just arrived in your mind. The green triangle is freshly formed in your awareness.
Ideas Travel Across Time
This is the hidden magic of thought transmission. You and I are in completely different moments, different locations. But something that once lived in my mind now lives in yours. This is how culture works. How belief systems take root. How influence spreads. One mind, planting a seed in another — through a book, a film, a song lyric, a glance, or a single sentence.
What Happens to the Seed?
Maybe you liked the green triangle. Maybe you didn’t. Maybe it reminded you of something long forgotten — a childhood toy, a piece of art, a warning sign on a mountain trail. Some of you might even be inspired to draw one. Others will forget about it before the day ends. But some… some will remember this moment the next time they see a green triangle out in the world — and wonder.
That’s how seeds work. Some die the moment they land. Some nestle into fertile soil and start to grow. Some don’t sprout for years.
We Are Soil for Ideas
This isn’t just about triangles. Every moment of your life — every conversation, image, idea, suggestion, belief, memory — is a potential seed. Some become action. Some become identity. Some become nothing. Whether they grow or not depends on the conditions in you at the time it lands.
A rose won’t grow on a beach. But plant it in the right soil with the right light, and it will bloom.
You get into a new hobby, a new career, a new relationship — not by force, but because something within you was already prepared for that seed to land. That’s alignment. That’s resonance. That’s soil meeting seed.
So, What’s Growing in You?
Take a moment. What ideas are taking root in your life right now? What seeds have been planted in your mind lately — by what you’ve read, talked about, watched, listend to, or thought about? What are you unconsciously watering with your attention and giving space to grow? What seeds have been sewn in your past that lead to be when and who you are now? And what are you ready to uproot before they take control of your life?
The green triangle is just a metaphor.
But the awakening is real.
